I could join Vgen since artstyles like mine are in high demand but I feel like that market is already full of people who are better than me (I’ll still join anyway if I get a code but still)

Unfortunately some things have extremely elastic prices which are always kept low simply because it can, or because people are used to the extremely low prices set by more popular people. This can be seen in indie games where they HAVE to be set low or else nobody would get them. I do hope you find a way to get a balance on these things though

I agree!! It’s exactly what’s happening to me, and especially with robux becoming more popular I think this problem is getting worse, like I’ve seen people say that 500 robux is too expensive for a full body when in reality that only equals to about 4 dollars. I try to correct these people when I can but there’s just too many people who believe this it’s sad, these people are so young yet they’re burning out

Honestly I think you could up your prices a bit (like 5-10$ more) since people arent really paying for just someone to draw, its also so they can get a piece of art they can own, do whatever the hell they want with it, print it perhaps (for personal use) and maybe even sell if they're that insane (last one would prob require them to pay you a fee for when that art is used commercially though).

idk why you undervalue your artwork so much. Now im not one to be poiting that out in others my art isnt "quality" but your style is very good. you have very good visuals. your art does NOT look unprofessional and that is somehting that i have noticed early on. "i only take 20 hours", it doesnt matter, either way, do you yourself feel overworked? do you enjoy the work?, this is your art world. Do as you please,

ive seen you say things like this before and it upsets me a little as your art is very good and does what its trying to do well. You are good at what you do. Have you thought about selling other things, like prints n shit so you can have that passive cash to fall back on?

@icandoanything no matter how much others try to tell me, it just feels like common sense that my art isn’t the best ever..? it dosent feel like undervaluing at all. I still do art and commissions because it makes me happy (Also I do have merch but it dosent sell at all because not many people want expensive anime keychains wich fair enough )
