I am slowly adjusting to having free time again now that exams are over, so I can actually start focusing on other things like writing and drawing now...

wow, congrats on finishing your exams! i'm sure it feels great to be able to get back to writing and drawing. even though I have free time, I've kind of been wasting away, so I need to get back on it too!..

They lasted a month and a half, which was hellish. I think it's important to rest, but also to ensure we impose some kind of structure on our free time, even if it just looks like a small checklist of things to do to make sure you don't waste away too much at home.

Just about; thank you for the kind message. I've had final A-Level exams for over a month now and they're still going. Living in a constant state of stress, but it's almost over now. t~t

I don't know how I didn't see that. Where do you keep it hidden? I am adding it now.

I haven't posted it on my website yet, I'm still looking for a good place to post it.

Your about page is probably the best place to put it. Easiest to find.

Thank you so much for linking to my page. I am curious, how do you go about creating a button? I don't currently have one but would consider making one.

Not literaturegirl, but this is an easy page to make buttons with: https://hekate2.github.io/buttonmaker/ ^^

I used a mixture of what vashti referenced above, along with GIMP, I think. GIMP allowed me to get better clarity, I think?

Does anyone have any recommendations for secure, FOSS voice call alternatives? Lately I've been using Brave Talk, but I'm wondering if there's anything else. I used to use Mumble, but an old friend had a private server to host it on, so I'm not sure I could use it now.

Besides Mumble, all I can think of is Matrix. That being said VCs are complicated to implement AFAIK.

Your site is very endearing in its simplicity; your photography is so wonderful. You have captured the souls of the people and the places you have photographed so beautifully.

I just finished reading through your new article on fountain pens; thank you for your thoughtful response! The sakura engraving on that nib is absolutely beautiful. I'm quite envious of the amount of stationery stores and community you seem to have available to you, considering I'm from a rather small Irish town with very few people (if any) to discuss this hobby with.

It would be nice to be able to test and buy fountain pens in person, but alas. My first fountain pen was a gift from a friend so I'm unsure of the brand, but after this I got a LAMY Safari because it was a widely recommended beginner choice. It writes well, and I love extra fine nibs, but the plastic barrel isn't ideal. I recommend testing dip pens someday; less convenient, but I use them for writing penpals letters.

No worries! I'm really happy that you asked about it and I'm always down to enable someone on fountain pens LOL The pen is really beautiful irl and I can see why it sells out so quickly, I just had my lucky streak that day! Your friend is so nice to gift you a fountain pen ^^ I've been wanting to get a dip pen too, writing letters seem like a good idea to try and I might give it a shot one day ^^b

This looks like a wonderful site already, and I'm very excited to see what else you add to it; especially what you might write. I like the fountain pen ink reference, also, as I've recently begun using fountain and dip pens everyday. I'd be interested in hearing about your collection or thoughts on using fountain pens, and if you have any recommendations. :]
