Its always bittersweet to discover the fate of those you see in these yearbooks, only to find they've passed. Especially if they passed young. Especially if they're still alive and you've managed to figure out that they've made quite a fantastic life themselves and are now enjoying retirement. It's bittersweet. Off to buy more yearbooks!
