I'm also in the mood to draw some ocs in other people's species/worlds but that'll have to wait until late May too, I hate coloring with my fingers!
Thank you for this resource! I had wondered if such a webring existed already but didn't see anything like it, and I'm thrilled someone was up to the task.
Yeah! I thought it would be cool to gather people up since neocities has a worldbuilding niche. I really love reading on new universes, but also many people only come on here once every blue moon :* it'll take a bit to fill the list up lol
Thank you Netvor: Beauty and the Beast for showing me the light, as it does the same thing with a novel/comic split.
If you wanna see how it looks, go to the Encyclopedia's bottom. It's cute but it's like a huge beige rectangle.
oughhhhh, can i give you a better icon for the webring? my button is so weirdly designed that it really doesn't work anywhere else but my abt page omL
OH yeah sure, you can send it over discord or email if you want! I think it looks cool but it's your choice!
If you need help with the code part of it, just email me or comment on my page :3
oof that sucks! what kinda tablet do you use? can it be fixed easily enough π?
It can! I just bought this like, cheap $20 apple pen rip off instead of a real one-they die off quickly lol. I may have a spare but I think I'll invest in an apple pen to avoid stuff like this in the future lol
What was your inspiration/methods for the glyphs for the different disciplines? Side-note, I love the somaturge/white mage the most.
Good question! I kinda thought, what is the quintessential symbol people associate with each class in a DnD sense and in an everyday sense? And then I got cracking. Witches get a classic pentagram, wizards get a tome and pen, any magic class with somatic elements have hand motifs like druids and white mages, and summoners get a keyhole because they call on the other side. It's kinda like...thinking literally
But also abstract at the same time. As for the cleric/paladin symbol, that's super linked to the world that hasn't been introduced yet LOL but that's just Tovera's religious motif-a diamond for the four virtues that helped found the empire.
And thanks! I definitely think white mage has the strongest of them in design, it's super cute. I'd love to have it as a sticker or charm or something lol
