First batch of blinkies has been added to the Stash! There are a LOT that I have downloaded, and I'm constantly finding more, so expect quite a few updates in the coming weeks.

I'm torn between how to present my blinkies archive... Do people prefer browsing by distinct categories (like how pixel safari does it), or browing by filtering tags (how web badges world does it)?

Right now I'm doing a bit of both, with the page laid out in cateogories, but my fandom category has tag filtering. But I'm wondering if tag filtering should just be the default across the collection.

Nevermind I've talked myself into doing it as tag filtering lmao it's gonna be so much easier for me to maintain that way

Hi!! Just wanna say thanks for recommending imagemagick to me! It looks like exactly what I need I'll definitely give it a try!
I have downloaded 3000+ blinkies from defunct web graphics websites... pray for me getting these categorised in my stash!

Added a bunch of dividers to the Stash using Candybar graphics, they're designed to be used as tags, but you could also just use them as images. I've also figured out a new technique so you can have tags with images on the side that dynamically move based on width! I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this, but I haven't seen it anywhere else lmao

(i mean to say hr tags, didn't realise that the greater/less than symbols vanish in neocities comments lol)

If anybody knows a tool that I can use to bulk crop the transparent pixels from lots of gifs I will give you my firstborn child. I have ~1000 pieces of pixel art archived from a defunct pixel doll dress up service, and they all have A LOT of transparency around them. They'd be more useful and aesthetically pleasing if I could present them without the transparent edges... But EZGif is unwieldly for a project this big.

I guess that ImageMagick might be the sort of thing you're looking for. Take a peek at https://usage.imagemagick.org/crop/#trim

It's much simpler, but that thankfully means I can easily update it without wanting to cry :o)

Anybody know some good pixel fonts that actually appear pixellated in browser?? It seems like MS Gothic is the only font I can actually get to appear crisp and clean, everything else has awful anti-aliasing :'o)

I would suggest Silkscreen, not sure how it looks in larger sizes though, but maybe that could work!
