I have assembled well over 200 tileable backgrounds from over 30 video games, to be shared in my next major website update! So look forward to that!!

Yes, I've seen the AI blog post by Kyle. It's so missing the forest for the trees, it's hilarious. Nobody is complaining about machine learning being used in niche, highly-specialised circumstances. And nobody is saying they're as dangerous as nuclear weapons, wtf kind of comparison is that? But we are concerned about the effect it will have on creative industries and the web at large..

I came to NeoCities partially because Elon Musk ruined Twitter. And part of that rot comes from ChatGPT and other LLM being used to create bots and spam on a scale never seen before, a system that social media algorithms implicitly support. They're bringing about the death of human interaction and human creativity.

I'm probably not gonna move to Nekoweb, although it is tempting, anytime soon. I'm too busy with uni (ironically, creating art pieces about ChatGPT and how much I despise it) and can't be bothered to change all my links. Plus, the blog post is from 2023. Maybe his thoughts have changed? But I am eyeing up Nekoweb with increasing intensity

OMG my second idea (to embed a live2D model into my index) *also* doesn't work. For some reason, I can get every single other model to load in it except for my models lmao :'o)

BIG UPDATE!! I still need to re-do the index, art and pixel clique pages but there's now a page for web material's i've scrounged together and a whole new aesthetic overhaul :o)

lots of nice new touches! I think that new background of the city skyline fits your sites structure really well. It's got the same visual texture as the active parts of the site.

I just downloaded 101 promo images for Habbo Hotel with intents on turning them into tileable backgrounds. Gonna be a pain in the ass, but I think they'll look really cute :o)

Busy redoing a bunch of my CSS! Website is currently pretty broken on my copy, so expect a little while before the next update :'o) (although I am seeing Joker 2 soon and I'll be sure to add that to the media log asap)
