Son Gohan has far more potential to be stronger than possibly anyone but Freeza, Jiren, or Broly, but Son Goku and Vegeta constantly outpace him due to training far more than he does. He WAS the strongest hero character in the Cell and Boo arcs, but that's gone out the window in Dragon Ball Super. Just for whatever it's worth.
