fatshion page is coming along. ive written about most brands ive worn/owned at some point, currently collecting links to various sites to share on there. didn't realize how many links to alt fashion stores I had despite dressing so, so basic lolol

it's definitely got it's issues and a bit of a learning curve but in terms of "smaller" social media spaces i like it a lot. there is also the option for NSFW content (which needs tagged + you can filter it out)

definitely thinking a big project i could work on for the site is making a fatshion-centric page. like shit on resources for where to find plus sized clothing, my thoughts on various brands, etc.. currently hunting some real femme-y stuff and the places i typically shop at aint cutting it and the subreddits are kind of lacking tbh

this is me mad about how most offerings are like 95% basics. basics are important (fat ppl gotta work too) but cheesus I wanna be in my girlie girl era so bad and im tired of dressing like a mom. i wanna be in my princess era in spirit while i play mass effect for the umpteenth time. when i work on the page there will definitely be much of that

this isn't related to anything but the sole thing i especially miss from tumblr is being able to make longform incoherent ramblings. yeah bearblog exists but i feel weirded out putting my blorbos on that thang and i can't scream in the tags like you could on there. and also the whole "least hostile to artists on the site" thing, least until the midjourney deal

At least they have the ability to opt out! Which means that everyone who opts out will get cash from a settlement when it invitably breaks that they'd been selling user data from those who have opted out too!

i think a decent (? ish?) alternative to tumblr might be cohost but i dunno if theres a lot of blorbo talk on there. but it doesnt feel like it'd be out of place there

currently trying to cook up new solutions for allowing users to send art requests thru... thinking a form that sends results to a google form a la ayano's comment section? i want something a little less formal than an email that can be used to submit stuff anonymously (or not!) like tumblr asks could
