this isn't related to anything but the sole thing i especially miss from tumblr is being able to make longform incoherent ramblings. yeah bearblog exists but i feel weirded out putting my blorbos on that thang and i can't scream in the tags like you could on there. and also the whole "least hostile to artists on the site" thing, least until the midjourney deal

anyway im planning on adding some videos and additional info on the pinterest page. debating on making another new page of some kind of interest too lmaoooooo
At least they have the ability to opt out! Which means that everyone who opts out will get cash from a settlement when it invitably breaks that they'd been selling user data from those who have opted out too!
i think a decent (? ish?) alternative to tumblr might be cohost but i dunno if theres a lot of blorbo talk on there. but it doesnt feel like it'd be out of place there
