those people are not only insane but also genuinely less in number then they seem. the farther away from sites like that u go you notice its mostly nice people out there

Even scarier thing to keep in mind: I'm glad Neocities isnt popular because it's also a thing for governments to set up a bunch of fake accounts to make a harmful viewpoint more common or normalized. I try to avoid popular social media as much as possible because when I do meet someone like this, I have no idea if I'm talking to someone brainwashed or a literal bot
