I still can't find out how to respond to replies on updates so I'll just comment here, thank you so much for the comments! :D And sorry I didn't see it for so long! For that specific section on behavior I was referring to rudimentary tool use, like crows. But gastroliths are also common too, and sometimes they just eat sand as well! :)

I always look foreward to updates, these little creatures are so fascinating! I've always loved making my own creatures and thinking about how they interact with their world.

ooh, "Some have learned to use rocks or shell plates to help them break down their food before eating" Is that like a bird's crop of grit, or do they use the rocks and shells more like tools?
