If it were a Mac I would have returned it to the shop already, for the amount of money one of them costs I expect nothing but perfection.
The newer models are anything but. :) Have you seen the problems with the butterfly keys?
I had not heard about that problem before. The models with it certainly aren't very appealing buying options.
My favorite TV show ever. I grew up watching these when they first went into syndication in the early 70s. I also really liked Capt. Pike. All three seasons are good but the first two have most of the best episodes. Lots of great SciFi authors of the period wrote/edited the episodes along with Gene Roddenberry.
I've only seen a handful of episodes before, so watching the show will be a new experience for me. BTW, what do you think of the animated series?
The last time I really watched TAS, I was probably 7, so I'm not sure how it's held up over time. I remember it being pretty good, although some of the episodes were very derivative - or recasts - of episodes on the original series. Also, they replaced Checkov with a three armed alien - cool in its own right, but still...not Checkov.
Having all the main cast except Chekov seems a bit odd. They must have really been out of money if they couldn't have one of the main characters on the show.
They originally were not going to have Sulu and Uhuru either but Nimoy told them to shove it unless they were included too.
I wonder why Nimoy didn't insist on Chekov also being there. Well, if the animated series isn't considered canon anyway, I guess it doesn't matter that much in the end.
Oh, thank you! ^^ Your site is so awesome, too. There's so much excellent content!
