The people I've interacted with on Neocities have been so nice, I'm honestly so impressed!! I have had major negative experiences on every platform except this one, and I've been on here for over 2 years now

sometimes I feel insecure that my favorite language to code in is Python. the people who prefer C, and C++ keep calling me a fake programmer :(

About "Comm. of a Liar," I wanted to say I also often think people fake being happy. For what its worth, your writing didn't my life worse, and plenty of works allude and base themselves on others, as yours did. Perhaps originality is just being good at "plagiarism." I also don't get what that debate lady was mad about. I would say a lot more but it won't fit. Your writing has value and I hope you're doing better.

sure I know CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, but the C and C++ redditors also call it fake. to say nothing of me being a woman and constantly being talked down to in STEM spaces
Ignore people who simply put you down. They're idiots.
LMAO, the joke's on them. Programming in python is pleasant in comparison and unless you are building some speed critical systems, you'd be hard pressed to justify spending 10x time on a piece of code.
