yes!! i want to live in that retirement home too haha. there's a lady in my neighborhood who i'd guess is no yonger than like 75-80, who rides a neon orange motorcycle and has a gold (!!) leather jacket. i can only dream of being that cool at any age.
and cool that you have mamachapp moko, i really wanted to get one and I was waiting for a good deal to come up, when suddenly they disappeared from all the second-hand markets and now they are what, 3000-6000 rmb on xianyu...
feels sad to know that just recently there were so many of them on mandarake for third of the original price and now they're so out of my reach lol, I hope they lose in popularity again and I can get one for adequate price
i agree, miu has the sweetest little face!! and yeah, the state of mamachapp (and other 1/6 collector dolls) is.. wild. the clout collectors are scary (｡•́︿•̀｡) i got that lolita moko when she came out, and i have a cat nun? moko that i got on yahoo auctions for like,, 4000 yen before the clout collectors blew up the market. ppl constantly bug me to sell to them, and i'm like.. no way
i've had most of my dolls for years, i'm not gonna ditch them to somebody who's just gonna move onto the next tiktok collecting microtrend a few months later ... (=_=;)
I got dms asking me if I can sell a mamachapp from just posting pics of mamachapps (not mine) & selling clothes that fit them lol. like, I was selling some stuff for azones and someone asked me if I have a mamachapp and can sell it to them
i still blame myself for passing on one moko listing on russian second-hand market. there were no clothes, only the doll itself, and I wanted to wait for a fuller set to come up. well, who could have known that this would be the last listing I'd ever see in Russia & the prices for them on other markets would go insane :(
