^w^ thank you! I actually have trouble sitting through movies too, I reccommend having something to do while you watch (i like to draw), and there's no shame if you have to skip ahead or speed it up, especially with silents
They tend to be very slow paced compared to modern films because the focus is all on the imagery. I’ve found Metropolis (1927) is a good place to start, i think the way it’s structured makes the difference not really feel as drastic (plus it’s just massively culturally influential)
