'oxford study' this 'oxford study' that... damn sharty why can't we accept that 2 people can love each other even if they're of different ethnicities..? This stuff is bordering on the conservative anti-interracial marriages bs but just presented more subtly
I'm not denying that fetishism exists - I'm asian, I've seen it first-hand myself. But be a little realistic because the vast majority of relationships probably aren't built off it. Anyway my little talk over :P
REALL like i live in a very white area with nnot alot of asians so like its kinda bound to happen that i date 1 white person, like i have no race preference but once i mention that my ex is white they think im weird
Yeah, I hate it. The environment where I met my boyfriend in was also white, and any asians that were there in the first place stuck closely to their nationalities so they never even looked my way. And then I met my boyfriend and we clicked straight away but didn't date until a few months later because my dumbass couldn't recognise my feelings at first lol. Why's fetishisation always gotta be assumed man ;-;
i think everyone who isnt asian has a hard time wrapping their heads around how asians date.... within my asian american community, most of the people with my same ethnicity are related to me, so ofc all of us ended up in interracial relationships because otherwise we would literally be dating within our own family! its extremely common to have interracial marriages/relationships in the modern day?? like!!
