Two of the biggest things that I've found that everyone seems to think that you should do are astrology and tarot/oracle cards. I came paganism differently to a lot of other people - back in the late 90's what caught my attention was Egyptology and general archeology, mixed in with a lot of strange things about UFOs and other strange phenomena. Of course, a lot of the UFO stuff is nonsense, but it got me interested -
in the academic side of things. Another aspect that appealed to me was the Earth-based nature of paganism as I've always been interested in animals and nature conservation and didn't feel that Christianity which is what I was brought up as dealt with it very well, so Druidry became an interest. But I've never been drawn to the spell craft, astrology or tarot so Wicca wasn't my thing.
