this entry resonated deeply w me, especially because many places in southeast asia still are very much small towns and those who are "other" are pushed out of the ingroups. very happy to hear that it's still home for you, like mine is for me <3

here in spain i cant see it even clearing cache and cookies… hm, might be a europe datacenter thing?

fwiw it took an hour for one of my updates yesterday to show up, and i live in america

Neocities is slow today, and the updates are not getting published. Hopefully in a couple of hours they'll load!

I feel stupid for thinking this was going to be a take on Captain Kirk from Star Trek... In all seriousness, I'm glad you brought up the school shooting too. It's sad seeing it be swept under the rug, but sadly it would be ignored even if Kirk wasn't shot, just like the other 46 shootings this year.
