I just looked up Bystander & I've never seen it before; It's so evocative! How big was it in the museum? I heard that seeing art in person, seeing the actual size of the canvas/etc. is an entirely different experience than seeing it elsewhere.

୨୧vashti it was huge.! i think the dimensions were at least five feet across and four feet high. it was bigger than me.! i definitely felt moved by the sheer size of the piece. also the frame had seashells and glitter on it, and was very decorative and beautiful. i loved it. i really wish i had taken a picture.

Huge torments here too; tons of rain, hail, strong winds , violent, unpredictable. Mother Nature seems to be very angry at us. Btw, Natural Born Killers on dvd is a good find.

Your work should have just stayed closed! But I'm glad you're safe and had a slow day. The snow and ice is beautiful, but difficult when you're forced to be out in it.

୨୧crepuscular rain and hail are pretty scary, hopefully the weather wasn't too bad to damage anything for you. january i always feel as if its the worst of it. and yes, i love natural born killers so much.! such good movie.

୨୧strawberryreverie agreed.! the few other people who showed up to work were all saying we should've been closed. the store lost i think 17k. and management was trying to say it wasn't that bad. but the positive is, everything looked so gorgeous afterwards. i love the snow.!
