I just thought you might like to know that a small bird has recently taken up residence in our fireplace (which we, thankfully, do not use.) I thought the bird was stuck at first and tried to open the door so that they could return outside via the house, but apparently s/he is capable of flying away. We left the bird some food and they have since returned after it started raining outside!
