I'm having an aneurysm trying to figure out how to get my footer to stick to the bottom of the page (NOT the bottom of the viewport, ffs), without it having a massive amount of space either at the bottom or before the footer causing it to scroll when it doesn't need to

It has just occured to me that I'm being a big-brained genius and I can probably only do it by sticking a few line breaks in.
