Sometimes when I stare at certain years written out, like 2001, 2009, etc, it makes me feel really strange... Like I remember these years so clearly, and the music and media that came from them, but it feels like it was yesterday. Right now it's 2009; I was 16, finishing school, starting college, partying with friends. It's happier feelings, memories and associations than a year like 2001/2002.

Been a while! Too long. But I recently wrapped on a feature film, so been gradually returning to reality. Back to my broadcasting job, catching up with all I've missed. Need to figure out what's next with the site!

It's been over a month since I've done any updates, but life and work have just been so busy! I'm still working on ideas in the background, so when things eventually settle I can get back to it :)

Saw Gorillaz live last night performing their debut 2001 album in full, it was incredible. Uploaded a couple of videos on my YouTube that I can hopefully add to my site :) Seeing them again performing Plastic Beach live on Tuesday eve ;)

It sometimes feels like there's a disconnect between body and mind, like my brain knows it's 2025, but when it thinks about years in the past, they seem like yesterdau but they're 15-25 years ago, and I get that sinking feeling in my heart and stomach, like my body just cannot comprehend that despite the fact I've gone from childhood/teenagehood to full-on adulthood in that timeframe. Does anyone else feel this way?
I'll probably end up writing a page up about this and how my body reacts to nostalgia at some point. It's a specifically strange experience I get and I've yet to meet anyone else who gets something similar lol. It only started once I got to my 30s
