after abt 2 weeks I'm back from my trip! there's a lot of ideas, coding-wise, that I want to make! but we'll see how far that excitement goes, bcuz I've also come to worry abt my site being "too vague" in terms of my interests... I love comics and various media, but I worry my site might become "bloated" in its content... but we'll see as I create more pages in the future...
I have so many interests and passions that I worry my website appeals to no one, but at the same time the only person MY website should appeal to is... me! but I am still quite self conscious abt such a thing... especially since the "roots" of my website are bcuz of sonic, I never want to lose sight of that... but if I love various comics and media so much, then I should be ready to expand my site accordingly...
I think what you do with taking a screenshot of your website every year or times you just feel to take a screenshot is a really good thing, that's something I plan on doing. There's times you get all caught up in making something, you forget how far things have come. I looked at an archive of my website from.... two years ago? And was surprised to see what's changed, I got reminded of the original feelings I had -
- when exploring it..... and I recommend giving it a try if you ever feel as if you're straying from what you originally started! I'd love to see more pages about other things you're interested in, I love Sonic too but there's times I feel I look into that too much, I don't want Sonic to be the only thing I talk about or show on my 'site either
@radicalblur I think when I say it, I'm just being self conscious abt "being a person w/ interests" bcuz there's nothing wrong w/ being a person that likes a lot of things, but I think back to moments when I was posting my art on sites like twitter and tumblr where ppl asked "why I didn't talk abt/draw (fandom) anymore" and I think a comment like that has stuck w/ me more than it should, that's all
