I have tried to code an "about page" for my site multiple times, I know it's MY website so I can put as much or as little as I want... but I worry I have too much text on it, or that I'm not interesting enough- or at all... it's much more difficult than filling out boxes for a profile section on any other social media site....

as motivated as I have been for coding, I still second guess myself a lot... I want my newer pages to be "finished" when I publish them, I don't allow myself room to experiment and change... I hope no one else holds themself to such standards, I'm so anxious abt a silly little website that's supposed to be totally mine! I hope everyone is much kinder to themselves while working on their sites...

@abunnslife I don't have mine published yet! I've been working on a "current" version of my about page recently but I've gotten some new ideas and decided to work on a new version again... orz the only thing I've kept between each "version" of an about page is using a table to display my favourite animanga and video games...

I broadly like how mine came out, but it’s always hard keeping the balance between yapping and not invading your own privacy *too* much lol

@satyrwoud that is a good point, thankfully I'm keeping my personal life details still confidential, the most indepth I'm going in abt myself is just some vague history of old websites I frequented (like quizilla, lol) so thankfully my worry is just making a webpage that's a glorified wall of text
