gave in to the itch to redo site layout again... not sure if ill publish it yknow but eh. you know the feeling when you looked at your site for too long and it starts to get ugly and boring??

neocities of all places. if i use ripped assets from a game and make a fan project (the aforementioned blue prince house builder), would i get in trouble? since the assets are copyrighted?

pretty sure you'd only get in hot water if the copyright holders decided to come get you; although it's still better to be safe rather than sorry

As long as you aren't selling it and it isn't in the same genre, it'll depend on the company but they probably won't care. Like, Pokefarm Q has been a P2W game mostly using stolen Pokemon sprites for 10+ years and has survived presumably because being a virtual pet / adoptables game vs. anything in Pkmn's genre means Nintendo doesn't think of it as a threat like Pokemon Uranium back in the day.
