Your art is sooo expressive!! I draw birds all the time but I have such a hard time pinning down a good cartoony style and yours is so beautiful!
Triptych Requiem looks like a fun upcoming game. I was working on a gameboy game last year via gbdk2020, and could totally see that working well on that platform too

although with what i can see of your spritesheets, gba/snes would probably be more appropriate
