HEY UH... anyone got advice for a place I can host my videos thats not on nekoweb? I just found out they could ban me on there for doing that.... Id want to be able to easily update my links to have the video name at the end of the host url... itll be a bitch to figure out how I can update my links in the archive...
I think you can use archive.org, probably the best option. If archive.org doesn't work you could upload to YouTube and unlist them, and embed through YouTube (you'll be stuck with the youtube video player). Some cloud services like Google Drive I think allow you to embed files you've uploaded too, you could also try that.
@benny they told me its against the nekoweb TOS.. also @frammyjammy thank you for the suggestion! I wanna try filegarden and see how that holds up 4 now, thats what I use to host my site button
if you pay $5 you can host up to 50gb on neocities, you can cancel your subscription and won't lose the files, but if you want to manage them you gonna have to subscribe again. You can host up to 15gb for free on Google Drive, and 2gb for free on Dropbox. C
Afaik Catbox bandwidth is not very reliable for streaming videos, and Internet Archive bandwidth is also pretty limited, but at least they are not a massive evil corporation like Google
that's such an asinine reason for even a hypothetical ban...what rule would you be violating?

if your talking about .mp4 files catbox.moe or filegarden or other file hosting websites can work :)
I would recommend file garedn. I've been using it for some time with no issues so far
