I wanted a visual effect on the main website navbar like reigen.moe's website but I'm not good enough at keyframes to do this so I'm switching to something I can do myself. It's more simple but better in some ways. I also intend to reopen the website at the end of the month and I will reopen everything on sub-section at à time. There's much more work to do than I expected but I will not give up.
The result is much simpler to maintain and much faster to edit and I deeply regret not using sadgrl's template "root" function earlier. I didn't knew what I know now and I would have saved SO MUCH TIME. But at least I know how to do it and I used this knowledge to update more stuff. So the website is going to run on very limited content for a while but the result will be worth it.
I had to downgrade some parts such as the bavardage spoiler alert that I asked to an AI because I'm bad at JS so I am currently deleting that and I'm using a CSS subistitute which is less fancier but it's human made. The timestamp script on bottom of the pages was also AI made but this was stupid from my end because it's available right here : https://updateyourfooter.com/ and now I switched to pure CSS too
The site will be 100% Ai-free when it will reopen, I'm sticking to pure HTML/CSS because I've learned a lot with these languages and I'm now confident enough to do more elaborated stuff compared to stuff I was doing in 2023. There's still a lot to rework but the final result will be something I can maintain and rework by myself.
