Working seriously on my own HTML + CSS has allowed me to understand my rookie mistakes I made in 2023. But most importantly, I'm taking off Javascript that was explained by Mistral AI, so the revamped code will be 100% JS free and 100% AI free, all hand coded by myself with bits of errors, redudancy and mistakes. I clearly made a mistake and I'm fixing it now.
Because mistakes can be fixed, people can change. I don't like nor support AI, there's a lot of issues with this technology. I used it in late 2023 because I wasn't sure about myself and didn't looked around for libraries and stuff. JS isn't my cup of tea so I will stick to HTML and CSS only. I will try things by myself and if it doesn't work then I'll try in another way I can.
I believe that mistakes can be fixed and that we can learn from it. We can get better. We can improve. I do my best with this website because it's a very personal project and I will not give up. Not everything will be perfect because I'm not some kind of HTML/CSS god but I'm really improving by reviewing my own code and looking at lessons and tips online places such as W3School, Codepen.io, Flexbox Froggy and more.
The Club will probably reopen late January, after I'm done with most of the things I need to fix. That said, I wish everyone a good year 2026, drink water, stretch your back and be happy. Life is short, do not make it a speedrun. Take care of yourselves <3
