I've lived in Brazil for my entire life and here we see a lot of things that are simillar to what you have experienced on the Phillipines, like liberal/neo-liberal politics making the country struggle, and a lot of neo-colonialism...

tysm<3, I may not really express it in my about me page but i do truly have hope for the philippines in overcomming this neo colonial comprador state struggle in the growth of the NatDem movements, the outrage with the government, and outrage against the liberal system which allowed it to happen. Though only time will tell if this hope is misplaced
