I just saw your blog post about the BIOS lock bypass you did on your X230, and I was very excited, I just did the same thing on a T430 and T530 a week or two ago! I was planning on making a post of my own about the removal and subsequent coreboot installs for both, but I wanted to send you https://milaq.net/thinkpad-password-removal/ as a list of all the locations you need to short for all Ivy Bridge thinkpads.

Of course! I didn't quite realize that the T530 and T430 are essentially the same machine with a different screen size, and I do kinda prefer that the T430 is a little smaller, but honestly I love how they both feel and I get all the performance I need. With a CPU upgrade you could make a sick hackintosh with a T530! I heard the T480/T580 are good for that too.

I keep just slowly chipping away at this, I don't know why it's taking me so long. The setup really isn't that complicated, but my time has been increasingly divided lately.
