You'd be surprised how much a chain of restless nights can suck the color out of all the world - may be wiser to put these thoughts "on hold" until you get some rest. A question worth asking is, is it worth sacrificing who you are (and the silent pain endured) if it means 'connecting' with other people?
You're right. I keep asking myself the same questions and coming to the conclusion that, no, I don't want to sacrifice who I am to fit in better. That's still not going to guarantee me meaningful connections. I still haven't slept, so here's to hoping for tonight
