Like old blogs and such? I don't really date my topical posts other than my dailyblogs and dreamlogs. Perhaps that's something I need to work on.

I think attention is the most important thing with kids. They need all your attention. That has to be your shining star. Time.

That alone would solve a majority of the problems society faces today. Parents are just too selfish to give any time to interact with their kids these days.

I feel you on the education part and raising children. I feel the same way. I don't want my children to have the same experience I had. An uninvolved father is basically the same as no father.

I won't feel too good about raising my child being the same slave I am. It sucks watching your dad slave away from their job with no appreciation by their family (I was pretty ungrateful). It was until later that I realized how much of a brat I was :/
The dream feels a bit... post-apocalyptic; climate change vibes. Areas flood, people die, you're driving on an empty highway and enter an empty skyscraper. A little bit more futuristic than modern day but not innovative, just... sad.
Being alone isn't always so depressing. At least, that's not how I felt when I had this dream. The flooding aspect does seem pretty real seeing as how bad hurricaines can get around here. Flooding is not fun and it's kind of scary to try to walk across water. Even when you know how to swim.
Sometimes, I wonder if these dreams are prophetic in a way though even I have trouble figuring out the meanings sometime.
Unrelated but I just realized I have a bad habit of repeating redundant words in my sentences. I do this with my speech too. JUST...
