I guess it didn't help that I played History Channel Civil War: Secret Missions on PC yesterday and breezed through it on Normal Difficulty in 2 hours. I suppose that's partially a trigger to my dream.

Neat collection. Mine's just 33 switch&s2 games lol I've got a small handful of older games like Kingdom Hearts, and a few n64 games, but I sold/gave away most of my physical collection. Kinda regret. It's nice not having too much stuff, but they're fun to look at when they're nicely organized.

I feel you. I regret selling my cassettes, PVM, and tapes. The PVMs especially are so expensive now, I can't just buy them again.

My one regret in my collection is not picking up some JRPGs when they were still affordable. Roms and ISOs help a lot tbh.

if you had the resources to make a video game (outside of the visual novel genre) what would you make?

A military sim with mmo and dating sim elements!

That or a marching band simulator because that doesn't exist as far as I'm aware with an indepth music maker, student management, and tycoon elements.

Nice collection. I put my list online so I could check it on a phone to avoid buying duplicates at a store; very helpful! Sucks how retro stuff is expensive now. I acquired a big chunk of my collection around 2011/12 when people were literally giving stuff away.

I beat Eternal Sonata close to its launch. Cool game. The battles do get repetitive though.

Is it the fat model? Those have yellow light of death issues. The slim ones are more reliable but no PS2 dvd support :^(

it's a fatty all right, but of course the later fatty where they dropped the backwards compatibility :') no yellow light for me ever, but uh-- few months after jailbreaking, when i try to play something, the fan freaks out and it turns off. I haven't tried a disc, or leaving it in the menu, or any of the other apps or web browser, or factory resetting it-idr if that's even possible.I even had Eternal Sonata on it lol

Sounds like a heating problem with the console. These things are basically computers. I think replacing the thermal paste would be worth a try from what I am reading. I haven't done it with my Slim model even though those fans are really loud.

I figured it was heating issues because I had a similar problem with my X230T when I did a poor repasting job on my CPU. I did right the second time and my laptop doesn't shut off randomly anymore.

hmmmm i do have plenty of thermal paste. thanks, maybe I'll try it... I do miss it a little. I think I was right in the middle of Dark Sector. I was having too much fun, I had to be humbled.
