I did a measurement of my room temperature right after and it was 86F in the middle of the night. I was able to cool it down by opening a door since my bedroom is literally a garage. I have my portable hurricane fan which is better than nothing but now I gotta look into a swamp cooler since those use ice packs and a water tank to cool down a room. That might do the trick.
if you have a costco membership they have these amazing cooling blankets probably filled with carcinogens but they are required gear for summer dwelling
I have a rayon blanket which is just a bamboo fabric blanket that doesn't weigh as much as a regular blanket. Supposedly keeps you cooler when you sleep but I like the feeling of a heavy blanket on me. Makes me feel secure.
I rented Majora's Mask from Hollywood Video a long time ago so I haven't played the game for a signigicant amount of time. This might be the way going forward to playing MM: https://github.com/Zelda64Recomp/Zelda64Recomp/releases/tag/v1.2.0
Not much else to talk about today. Just thought it was worth mentioning. I'm gonna work on my writings now.
About the younger generation. Low-key, as Gen-Z, we may talk a lot of trash about Boomers, but I think the naming conventions has been ordained so that "oomers" will always be the worst generation.
Like, stereotypically Boomers are rich and had things handed to them. Zoomers think they got next to nothing, so their politics are like facism, racism, and communism. Knock on wood, Zoomers would enter politics and send Gen alpha to fight their wars. We already control their vocabulary (skibidi). Wait until Zoomers control the military
I have to keep reminding myself that Zoomers are now old enough to vote. I don't know if I'll still be alive by the time zoomers start becoming generals but that wouldbe interesting to see.
I suppose I could consider myself a late Millenial since I wasn't born in the 80s. A lot of older Millenials are starting to get wealthy from the previous generation or at least from what I heard. My family blew all that prosperty and wealth after the divorce so I got nothing to my name.
I want to say the enviroments do look a little better but a lot of the vibrant colors are gone. It's the same vibe as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWZxH2qSWu0
how do you have such graphic dreams? any tips for dream maxxing
Being really tired to the point of having trouble staying awake is a start. You will be more likely to dream when you're a deep sleeper.
As for the the type of dreams I have, it tends to be all over the place. They are either things I fear, things I wish I had, or subjects that are personal to me from my past experiences.
I was having a lot of trouble sleeping the past few days because my fan broke down in my room and it was incredibly hot while I was trying to sleep. Being hot kind of makes feel heated, figuratively and literally. I don't usually get these romantic dreams in the winter now that I think about it.
Most people who can lucid dream will tell you that writing your dreams down and eventually knowing when you are in a state of dreaming are all that you can make whatever you want happen. I don't think I ever got to that point. To me, my dreams always feel like it's real like everything is beyond my control.
I don't think I'm that imaginative as a whole. I heard of people having some really abstract and out there dreams. My dreams tend to stay realtively in the realm of reality with some exceptions (the occasional monsters, disaster, or girls talking to me haha). I believe current events and feelings play a big part on how your dreams playout sometimes.
For example, my recent dreams have mostly been school/uni related and I think it has to do with the fact that my relatives always talk about college. It's all they talk about because they see it with high regard and since I'm a drop out, it stresses me out.
