Just use Arch bro. Even while taking percautions with pacman updates, "Failed to connect to user scope via local transport" So now I can't boot into my desktop. Nice.

Time to take an entire afternoon solving the issue, making a live boot usb so I can fix said problem instead of...oh you know, actually doing something productive like writing a new blog or working on my story.

Oh and my monitor is done for too. There are distorted lines across the screen preventing me from seeing clearly. I can use my mini desktop screen on my 3D printed retro computer as a monitor but it's only 10.1" wide and I have to squint to see anything.

Don't get me wrong, I like pacman and yay. I don't like using flatpaks on debian based distros like Linux Mint but I should had just stuck with Mint from the start. I never had issues wtih updates on Mint unless it was a system upgrade. But at the same time, I like having a rolling release and having access to every update to date package too.

If I can't my desktop os up and running again, I guess it's time to take the Mint or Debian pill again. I don't know why I pretend to be a elitist sometimes.

i use limine bootloader and they rugpulled users by changing their config format out of the blue which prevented my pc from booting (nothing important it's just a bootloader that's all). really pushing out the casuals and giving a hard time to the power users cos we're masochists.

Three days of nothing but pure suffering with stomach flu. Haven't eaten anything until today. Recovering now so that's good. Maybe a blogpost about it but I'm to tired to do one.

Woke up to my mom screaming. There was a bark scorpion in the kitchen. I told her I wasn't kidding about the scorpions. I notice they tend to take shelter inside the house when it's raining outside.

anything you post on discord may as well be attached to your ID and funneled str8 to the NSA, DHS, CIA, and all the alphabet soup agencies...
the glowies do trawl the clearnet for anything and everything, but centralized platforms serve up people's data to them on a silver platter. the fact is that they own you and want to know everything you say and do, especially to squash dissent.
