not a problem, yeah apparently it was called the sega genesis in the USA because a floppy disk company had copyrighted the name ''megadrive'' in the USA patent system or something like that, so sega could not use it there. apparently the USA version of sonic spinball on the megadrive/genesis has different music from the UK one, but i'm not sure on the truth this. but yeah, megadrive/genesis, same system.
Thats so intresting an explains the difference in the console names. i'll have to see if i can find some Spinball music for both an see if theres a difference. so far theres no difference between Megadrive/Genesis Sonic 1 2 an 3 music wise though
