i did a bunch of housekeeping today- cleaned up some styles, reorganized files, added an update archive + cliques section, and added a bunch of adoptions. i always end up deleting the auto-updates neocities does, because it looks like a lot of clutter and maybe i have a control problem, whatever. i did some work to make that smoother in the future, also. and yes, this IS all an exercise in procrastination.
i’ve been working on reviving my suuuuper old sanrio fan clique for awhile now, and today it’s *finally* ready: https://sanrioness.neocities.org ~~ i restored most of the site text from the internet archive, but the layout is a huuuge, hd recreation of our first ever layout, drawn by me in figma. enjoy :)
if you’ve already used/linked one of the codes to the archived version of the website, don’t worry about changing it or doing anything extra. this was just for fun, and because i wanted to challenge myself to recreate a very oldschool design for modern browsers. it’s definitely not very mobile friendly, but i did my best given the design constraints :’)
ururuurhrururh i'm in the middle of refactoring some code, and my image lazy loading has gone a bit bonkers. i'm working on fixing it, but in the meantime, refresh should fix any broken images :')
i added some new adoptions, and think i'm going to modify the layout dimensions a bit, because the layout content container has been annoying me for awhile, now. ps this is what i work on when the other project i am working on gets too frustrating and i need to step away from it ;~; ugu
