okay...... i think I've finished the webpage... im kind of scared putting it up, but i do have everything backed up so I'm FINE, but I'm warning everybody- I'm going to delete my current page and implement the new one so there possibly could be some problems. Sit tight and cross your fingers.
hey an update to everybody... I've been working on a big project for my website that will probably make ME happier than anybody else, but I'm basically redoing the website to be easier to edit (organized better, nested in folders, cleaner code, local images) and it's taking a Hot Second, but I think it's worth it for my own sanity and it'll be a lot easier to edit the site afterwards.

I basically want this place to be My Internet Home and sometimes you have to spring clean :3c

Question for all: Where do you host images?? I've been hosting mine on a locked tumblr just bc of ease, but I realized there's an preservation issue in relying on other servers to maintain that... I've been thinking about contributing to neocities and getting the extra storage on here and using that bUT I'm not a huge fan of it having a limit though, when would I even reach the limit, let's be real

I resize everything to keep my file sizes small, averaging about 200kB per image, and just host them on Neocities. Makes organising my files a lot more easier. So far i'm only using 5% of my 1GB limit after almost of year, so it's going to last for a while.

I use catbox.moe; it automatically generates thumbnails which is very helpful for me.

i resize my images and host them on neocities like @murid , and i'm still only using less than 10% of the 1GB

I optimize my images on shortpixel.com, with the "glossy" option (best for art) and host them here. I'm using 1.8% of my 1GB so far.

I recommend maintaining local versions of everything then figuring this out only when you hit the limit :p the cost-benefit of the effort of many solutions isn't there until you're at *least* at that much
