Amazing info ! I want to ask, what about Floyd Rose use of Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine? The guy makes powerchords while wilding the bar. Usually with alt. tunning. Could be the same system or something customized ? K.S. uses only Jazzmasters, many of them originals from the 60s. Thanks and congrats for your post.

@crepuscular - I'm not sure how well a Floyd would do for MBV TBH. They're a little more responsive than the Jaguar/Jazzmaster vibrato units are (one reason I use both, it's much easier to land correctly on pitch with a Floating trem than it is with a Floyd at times). I don't know enough about Kevin Shields/Belinda Butcher to really comment TBH. I like their work in the 90's though, what of it I've heard.
