Regarding ur blog post about werewolves as autism metaphors: have you read ryoko kui's short story manga "wolves tell no lies"? (It's in her collection "seven little sons of dragons"). The story doesn't mention it by name but it reads as a potential autism metaphor to me

that was a great read!!!
also I thought it was super interesting that the mom says that symptoms don't manifest in women, but there's a scene later of her driving the car with werewolf fur on her arms, with regards to autism being underdiagnosed in women i thought that was a really neat detail
