Also with stealing layouts: It's not nice if someone steals and claims that they made, but with layouts honestly I think that people shouldn't be too much angry but layouts because if someone makes Twitter like layout, does that mean Twitter should claim DMCA?

Stealing layouts are basically the only drama on neocities, but it always feels so heated haha.

I think with layouts like Twitter are okay to steal since it's a big company and their layout is generic, but a neocities website is hand-coded and personal to the webmaster.

Yes I'm using Linux. In fact, I'm writing through Xubuntu (a lighter version of Ubuntu but you have also lubuntu which is the lightest Ubuntu like distro)

Never tried using Fedora but like with every operating system, as long you have a VM (virtual machine) and ISO image then you can test without installing or alternatively you can check by making pendrive as a bottable device (recommend for that Rufus or Balena Etcher) and run through LiveCD (using system without installing)
