the comic is hard to read on mobile + in some spots (didnt clean up the colouring very well. and some scenes are intentionally very grungy but in a way that makes them hard to read) so the grey text boxes are there underneath each page to help !!

to be clear it isn't that it's hard to read on mobile due to not being accessible there it's just that the text on the images gets smaller with the images getting smaller and all

the mobile accessibility guide is going to be a little tricky to work on because i think itd be cool to show off how you can make your site mobile accessible even when your site really doesnt look like its possible. fun challenge for me and maybe inspo for others

also please note this comic was written 2 days before uk government deciding it wants people to give up their ids to use the internet "freely". i knew this law was going to be put in place at some point but did not expect to write "i dont like being doxxed: the comic" and have the uk implement mandatory doxxing yourself 2 days later thats bonkers

like the gshade stuff that happened a while ago. dev made your computer shut down if the mod detected another mod someone made to fix an annoying part of the first mod. tried to claim that wasn't malware because they could've done worse. can you imagine saying that infront of a court

would love to state my thoughts on it. I really do NOT like the direction the last two episodes took. but it feels like everyone else out there has seen a very different story than I do somehow

idk the message feels like less about a story about love and the way love affects people/can hurt people and more "don't fight back against the system that wants you dead dumbass" which is definetly a message to have in your story in 2025

like I don't know what is the value of your protag going "humans are bad and evil" in a story where humans are an oppressed class kidnapped from their homes and abused/killed and kept as pets for aliens entertainment. in any other case I'd take it as "writer or character hasn't grown past the age of 13" but it feels like a completely different message in this context. mainly "we deserve all that happening to us"

especially after mizi disavows all hyunas efforts with the rebellion

instead of taking her anger out on the people who keep her in the system in the first place she takes her anger out on people who are/have suffered from that system. she's a fucking class traitor

idk I feel like it's ironic to have a story with anti revolutionary themes and then throw a revolutionary girl utena reference in there
