I've been gone for a hot second. Finals week really drained me and my mental health has been down in the gutter for various reasons. I still want to keep developing this site, but updates might be a bit slow for a while.

Neocities CLI is a godsend. Certainly helps me with my executive dysfunction. Website development has also filled the gap that my current artblock has left behind. It's been (mostly) a very stress-relieving project for me, and I very much need that right now.

A minor (but productive) update. Mostly started a lot of things that will be refined later.
My current tablet has decided to get all buggy for the last few weeks and I am sick of it now. It's not full on dead, but it gets stuck on a specific command key (like ctrl + Z) and I have lost some drawings due to this. I'd either have to get repairs or buy a new tablet in it's entirety. Graphics will be harder to make now :/

I am so much happier with this current design than any other design I have made in the past. I made more assets myself instead of relying on others and that makes me feel a lot more proud / at home with my site. It took a bit more time, but that's fine. I'm hoping to add more features and get better at JS as time goes on. There will be plenty of experimental pages as well. Cheers!

Last post for a bit. For anyone who has a blog section on their page, what is the easist solution to impliment one on a static hosting site such as Neocities? I don't want to rely too much on external sites, but I will if I need to B^]

I'm planning for my blog to be a pretty central part of my site, but I've been struggling on ways to actually make it in a way that isn't tedious for me. I don't want a huge mess of HTML files, go back and edit them tediously if I decide to make layout changes, etc.

I used zonelets previously! (i've since switched to doing everything by hand but not due to any fault with zonelets itself)

Thank you very much! In the past I struggled to make homepages because I didn't really know what to put in them aside from links to more important sections of the website. I solved this by creating an image based menu and utilizing iframes for things like updates. This is probably the best layout I've made so far- I don't see myself changing it anytime soon. Glad you enjoy it!
