I thought it was an interesting release! I need to listen to it more so I can solidfy my thoughts on it better (I only listened to it in-full a couple of times). I think "Elements" is my favourite track by far. The sound kind of feels like a cumilnation of every other album they've released,

"Perfect From Now On," is definitely my favourite Built To Spill album. "Keep It Like a Secret," is a very close second. I really enjoy the way Doug Martsch writes lyrics, especially in those two albums. Very intricate and beautiful. I really want to make a dedicated page on my site about them to get more in depth about how I feel about each album in full, but those two albums are super important to me.

for me its KILAS first, and Perfect from now on second haha! but they are both basically flawless. the lyrics really are the best feature. I would love to see that page! When u get around to it lmk <3

Duuuuude your site is super awesome! I love the old 90s PC game vibes!! I really want to capture that energy myself. Also, thank you for bringing to light both, "The Eastern Mind," and "Chu Teng!" They are painfully underrated games. I love Osamu Sato's work and I wish his other stuff aside from LSD Dream Emulator gets more love too.

omg thank you!! yeah theyre really cool games and the spiritual stuff really resonates with me, even though I dont totally get all of it. btw, your site looks sick!!! your about page kinda gives me barber beats album cover vibes, but sleeker, I love it!!

Your welcome!! The spiritual aspects really resonate with me too, I feel very connected to these games... Thanks a bunch, by the way! I enjoy baber beats as someone who was super into vaporwave... similar vibes. Cool that you noticed that B] my planned site redesign is more retro computer themed but I'm still trying to incooperate that sort of vibe alongside it!

Mental health has been affecting a lot of things- including the progress for my site, but I'm trying my best to keep my head up. I'm excited to say that I am pretty much done with most of the frontend, and now all I have to do is to do all of the backend of my site and some optimizations of pre-existing code. My goal is to release the new site around the new year- so like Janurary or Feburary.

Considering many other IRL factors though I might not be able to, unfortunately. My life is very chaotic right now!

The sun stings you skin as you squint into the billowing cloud of dust ahead. A silhouette undulates as it crawls from the ground at a geological speed. With each footstep your trace evaporates in a swirl of debris, which peppers your mask as you tighten your white robe. Salvation awaits. Universe be with U

Hmm... quite interesting.

WOW. no site updates in a long long while, though that will soon change. Again- as I said, I have been wanting to do some site redesigns for a good while now and I have been mostly conceptualizing and planning instead of coding. Real life also. I haven't been the most motivated for the past while. I want to get the ball rolling again though.

Now that I have a roadmap in mind, things might move a *little* faster.

I'm looking forward to your redesign! I'm kinda thinking something like that in the future of my own site, too, but its more of an "aesthetic shift." I'm thinking of mixing Frutiger Aero with Tropical vibes.

Very minor update done to the website today. I am working on a huge overhaul on the main index page (everything else will be relatively the same). Yeah, I've been putting off mySQL / PHP stuff. I've been very stressed these past few weeks so I'm sticking to things I'm already pretty familar with. I'll get back to it once I feel better.

Anyone know any good note taking applications (desktop)? No accounts, no anything. I just want to be able to write some text and insert images too if I can. I tried both obsdian and Qownnotes. I don't really like either of them.

I like Obsidian, but I have a friend who likes Trillium the most, so you might want to check that out.

You moved to Fedora as well? I moved a bit ago and I've been really enjoying it :] it's a good balance between what I liked in both Debian and Arch.

Not ATM, but it will be on my next machine or if and when Arch breaks.

Oh my gods, I really wish you could edit replies. It's really frustrating to delete the post and repost it with the modified comment.

I just deleted and reposted a reply I made to a post like 5 times. I edit my comments a lot because I always end up noticing one grammar mistake after another and it bugs me. Some people could care less, but I DO.
