I thought I was the only person in the whole world who analyzed their speech patterns! Just kidding, but it's comforting to hear someone else struggles with it too. What frustrates me is not being able to communicate my ideas in a concise and clear manner, do you have any recommendations for this?

I also have another question to ask, which (forgive me) is of a more personal subject, but why use sites like gelbooru and 4chan when there's a risk of nsfw content? As I understand you can filter it out on gelbooru, but how do you address this problem on 4chan and everywhere else on the web?

I think the best way to learn to communicate in a way that feels coherent to you is to spend a lot of time writing long-form letters to friends, assimilating parts of writing styles you enjoy in literature you read, and avoiding 'clutter' in your writing: unnecessarily obscure words, overly long sentences, badly structured lists. I think my sentences are too long very often, so I'm not great at most of this.

I filter Gelbooru, and on 4chan I don't have many issues with this whilst browsing the boards I do occasionally check, such as /out/ or /g/. If there is anything NSFW, my brain has gotten good at simply filtering it out or not looking at it by now.
