My first blog post is up - I hope to post musings a bit more often moving forward. And pictures from my day-to-day life, I just need to take them first.

I'd kindly like to know how many other people sit down to write (or edit what they've written before), and after a good chunk of time of attempting to do so, take a break, breathe in deeply, and ask themselves, 'what the hell am I actually trying to do here'.
Asking for a friend, duh.

Spent just over a couple of hours designing and ordering prints for invitations to my 10-year immigration anniversary party. Even though the process was smooth and I rewarded myself with ice cream after, for some reason, I continue to carry the anxiety of a small prey animal.

It's boiling here, and I'm stuck in a loop of nostalgia. Doesn't help either that I haven't had my coffee yet.

Preparing notes for my therapy session. Current mood is: 'my social battery wasn't just drained, someone also crushed it in the machine that makes cubes out of trash'.

Added a 'Currently' section where I'll capture what's on my mind & what media I'm enjoying at any given moment. Added some more buttons, stamps and banners.

Shared my first poem on the website! I write loads so I hope to put more up on there soon. It’s been so difficult being on the computer during the heatwave, but now that the UK is experiencing a tiny bit of respite, I’ll be on here a bit more. I missed it so much!
