I've been stung by a bark scorpion, bitten by a dog, and stuck my hand in an ant hill back when I was a dumb kid and I'd never been attacked by an Anole. Probably the most non-intimidating reptile in my region.
I can't imagine them breaking skin. I brushed it into a catch cup and released it outside. I had one jump from my mailbox onto me a while back but nothing happened other than I got a little suprised.

A few have bitten me only when I picked them up to take them outside. It tickles and it's so ridiculous looking.
