My desktop SSD failed on me this afternoon. For no apparent reason. That's awesome. Especially on election night.

I think I'm going to try to recover whatever data I can. I have a lot of my stuff backed up except for steam games and my Koikatsu models which sucks but it's whatever. I should had backed those up. I kind of did but they are older.
I'm going to sacrafice one of my spare SSD to use on my desktop for now. Something as a placeholder until I get something better.
I write most of my blogs and chapters on my laptop so the new chapter I've been working on for Mil-Sim Story is safe. I'm going to back that up while I am at it.

6 years old 1tb Sandisk. Thankfully, I used a live linux usb to access the ssd. My home partition was intact so I recovered most of the stuff I was worried about. The only thing lost was bookmarks from Librewolf but I'll just use the ones from my laptop.
Might look into some NVMe drives since I have a slot for it. I wish Toshiba made them. Their hard drives have been really solid for me.
