Not worth blogging about yet but I have seen not one but two Striped Bark Scorpions ( Centruoides vittatus) behind my bed. I caught both and put them outside but I am worried about more lurking under my bed now.

Realized and am humiliated that I misspelled scorpion
I'll blog about it once I accidentally step on a live one and get an unexpected sting. It's been a while since I was actually stung by one, and I recall it not being fun.
